Juan José Pautasso

Juan José Pautasso is a PhD candidate at the Department of Medical Imaging at Radboud University Medical Center, and an Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging (AXTI) lab team member.

Juan José Pautasso graduated in Mechatronics from the National Technological University in 2012. He also earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Córdoba in 2017. In July 2019, he received his Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His thesis, titled "Design and Development of a Novel Pipeline for Resting-State Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Processing", was conducted at the Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research. In June 2020, he joined the Advanced X-ray Tomographic Imaging Lab at the Department of Medical Imaging as a PhD student. Supervised by Koen Michielsen and Ioannis Sechopoulos, his research is centered on developing a functional, 4D breast imaging modality, complemented by automated, radiomics-based image analysis algorithms for personalized breast cancer treatment.
